FAQ

What is your address?

At this time, we are a mobile/private caterer so we do not have a physical location for customers to stop in.

How soon should I place my order?

We recommend that you order as soon as possible. We are usually booked out as far as 8-12 weeks in advance. A date is not reserved until a 50% non-refundable retainer and signed contract are received. We require a minimum of 2 weeks notice Cupcakes or Small Party Cake Orders (50 or less Servings), a minimum of 4 weeks notice large party cakes (50 or More Servings) or any custom cake & dessert table combo, and a minimum of 12 weeks notice for wedding cakes. Anything less will incur a rush fee of 25% for each week (i.e. 3 weeks notice will incur a rush fee of 25% of the total cake cost, 2 weeks notice will incur a rush fee of 50% - we will not take orders with less than 2 weeks notice for wedding cakes or large cake orders) We are happy to accommodate last minute orders if our schedule allows.

How come you require so much advance notice on orders? We are a custom baker and mobile caterer. We rent commercial kitchens on an as needed basis to complete our orders, so we need time to make those arrangements with our kitchen providers.

How much are your custom cakes? Each custom cake is priced individually, as the decor for each changes. But we do offer pricing on our Every-Occasion Cakes. But as a point of reference, our buttercream cakes start at $4/serving for a single tier and our fondant cakes range on average from $5 to $10/serving, depending on detail. Because we are a custom baker and each order takes time to create, we require a 50% non-refundable retainer on all our orders to secure your date.

How do I place an order with OC & C?

You can begin the ordering process by calling (917)579-7255 or sending us an email at occasionscateringcupcakery@gmail.com. Please include theme, servings needed, cake flavors, any inspiration pics you may have. Keep in mind in order to reserve a cake and hold a specific date, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required. A date/cake is not reserved until a contract has been signed and the retainer has been paid. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the event.
